Join Us this Saturday - January 1st 2022 at the Blue Hills Reservation at noon and meet your Commonwealth's Massachusetts Park Ranger Mounted Unit, managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) . Let’s celebrate Massachusetts leadership in public park utilization, stewardship, and mounted patrol. Can’t make it? You can still support our efforts to maintain mounted patrol in DCR parks statewide - thank you!

Come see the the DCR's Massachusetts Park Rangers Mounted Unit present Colors at the opening of Rehoboth Breed Expo. The expo features over 20 equine demos, and many different common and rare breeds will be shown.
The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) invites you to attend DCR’s Annual Park Serve Day, Saturday April 27, 2019 at parks across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
With the help of volunteers, DCR will spruce up park facilities, clean coastlines, clean and maintain trails, plant flowers, and more!
These valuable resources belong to all of us, and we can all take pride in them.
Since Park Serve Day began in 2006, tens of thousands of Massachusetts residents have helped to prepare Massachusetts state parks and beaches for the summer recreation season.

Experience the process of maple sugarin’ from tapping a tree to sampling maple syrup on pancakes. Tour includes the history of maple sugaring, tree identification and tap, wood splitting, and more.

Join us (NEXT YEAR) for this FUN annual event! Experience the process of maple sugarin’ from tapping a tree to sampling maple syrup on pancakes. This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of Breakheart Reservation.
Enjoy a sampling of maple syrup, pancakes, coffee, cocoa, popcorn for a $5.00 donation to the Friends of Breakheart Reservation, ($20. for family of 5- 6) and then join us for a tour of the maple sugarin’ process. Tour includes: History of maple sugaring, tree identification & tap, wood splitting, and the Sugar Shack.

Join our annual fall trail ride. Help support the DPH - Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children/Canton (formerly Mass Hospital School/Therapeutic Riding Center) and the DCR - Massachusetts Park Ranger Mounted Unit. The courses has a short and long 3 - 6 mile trails to hike, bike, run or ride along natural trails and enjoy the views of Ponkapoag Pond!
Location: Blue Hills Reservation - Ponkapoag Golf Course 2167 Washington Street, Canton
Entry fee: $30 per bicycle and horse back rider, $10.00 per hiker and runner ($30 per family hikers). Children under 12 free!
